A nonviolent protest is the practice of achieving goals such as social change through protests. Nonviolent protests don’t work because after that it starts getting out of hand and they start to do whatever they want and get out of control, citizens do because of they think its unfair the things and bad choices the government does to the citizens and the abuse of authority. One thing people protested about is the death of Trayvon Martin that was killed because he was black and other black people that got killed by either white people or police for no reason.
